Hello Everyone, we are so happy to announce that we are the 2011 US National Masters Champions. We were able to win the National Championship on October 30th on the Bullring at Las Vegas Motorspeedway.

I also want to thank our partners in the Mac's Racing program, Seattle's Best Coffee, Mar's Canada and Praxair, their support over the years has helped to make this possible. Another special thanks goes out to Danny Meier and Iron Horse Energy Services, Danny is a good friend and has been very supportive of our racing program for a long time and Iron Horse came on board as a sponsor this year and we are very happy to be working with them and appreciate the support.

This would not have been possible without all of the help, support, encouragement and coaching I have received from Chase Pistone. Chase is the best in the business, period. His Chase Pistone Racing Team, Nick, JR, Greg, Joe and the whole team did an outstanding job all weekend. The cars they prepare, setup and maintain are second to none and it is an absolute pleasure to be able to race one of their cars, they are soooo fast!

The #17 car was in the hunt all weekend long in Vegas, we narrowly missed the pole position on Friday afternoon but went on to win the Race of Champions race on the Friday night for all of the  State and Regional champions that were in Vegas. This is the second year in row we have won this race, we won it last year in Langley Virginia as well.

When Saturday night rolled around we started on the outside of the second row and bided our time and tried to stay patient as the race wore on. We slowly worked our way to the front and at the end of 40 laps we were the first to see the checkered flags and couldn't be happier.

Thank you to everyone that has supported us over the years, fellow racers that we have raced with, Legend Cars of Alberta for giving us an outstanding local series for us racers to participate, all of our local sponsors of the Mac's Legends Racing Series and all of the fans that support our local tracks, we appreciate everyone and everything you do.

I also want to thank our close friends, Scott, Jen, Chris and Alena for coming to Vegas to watch and hang out with us, it made it extra special having you there.
